Neck bent?

I have a Rockbass Streamer. I bought it second hand. The strings were pretty used out when I bought the bass. I'm a beginner and I unknowingly started tuning it very high. The strings were very tensed. After advice from a pro I tuned it properly low.. now two strings slightly buzz on the first fret. I hope it's because the strings are used out and not because the neck bent from the tension. Is it possible for the neck to bend in such a situation?

Hey mate, welcome to the forum,it's always good to have another Romanian on board.
Try leaving the neck as it is for a few days tuned EADG & it might settle back to it's original position. These necks are very stable so it might only be a temporary problem.
If it doesnt come good there's a brilliant Warwick tech called Florin Barbu (Xbass) who lives in Bucharest,he's also the Warwick distributor for Romania. He handles all the customer service enquiries here but I'm butting in coz I think he might be alseep or doing a concert somewhere right now.
Congrats on your new bass & dont be a stranger eh mate.

*edit.you might have buggered the strings by tuning too high.Put a new set on & tune it standard & that might get rid of the buzz.
Cheers dude.

Thanks for your answer. Well, I was just assuming it was bent, I can't see any bend. I'll put a new set of strings on and see how it goes.
