Paul, this is one made in 2009, they had in stock at Markneukirchen. So Ovankol neck, which is perfectly fine for me. I consider myself lucky to have such a nice grain on the body, at that time we didn't have the color flamed maple we are using now.
I needed this bass REALLY fast, and the Warwick Team was incredibly helpful, I got it in 3 days :)

If things go well, I will tell you what is this bass for, all I need now is you to wish me luck, pray for me, cross your fingers, anything you might find helpful :)

For a 2000s Lx that grain is exceptional! I have seen a few (and own one) that is much plainer than that. Heavy flame or not though, they are monsters of tone. Congrats!
 
love the grain, ajnd the color too !! Is that antique tobacco ??
 
Cool catch, Flo, antique tobacco over flamed maple is the best color, IMO. Congrats. 8:

MY ´09 LX4 has similar flame grade of flame. ;)
 
Yes, amtique tobacco, and a very reddish plane ovankol neck. Sweet bass :)
 
What can this bass do that the xbass cant? :)
 
Totally different job. I have a very important audition to do, and this has the right spund spot on for that band :) Xbass is awesome, and if I get the audition I will have enough time to see again if it fits or not :)

I am starting to suspect i have the two plainest slabs of maple to come out on a streamer! My Lx and Jazzman are both a bit plain. but TBH i couldnt care less. They sound good enought to melt your face!
