So I am the proud owner of a corvette proline fretless. Things a beaut! Doesn't seem to many fretless out there. It's the same color as the last 2 prolines I've owned. Haha. Pics to come. Funny enough I am not sure I'll stock with fretless so I may sell it haha
 
congrats! i use to say everybody should have a 4 string such as a fretless in their arsenal:)
 
Yeah it's hard to say. I end up neglecting the bass so often and that's the biggest pain. I want it to be played
 
With this body being color stained, can I use like 1000 grit sandpaper on it?
 
some of us are using scotchbrite and lemon oil to clean the natural oil bass :-)
 
Oh it's ocean blue!!! I just wanna get the shiny spots out haha

I thought ALL Vette Prolines were Ocean Blue.

... mebbe zjuzz the ones sent to the USA :-/
 
Mine is. I have seen some that aren't though. For sale at least!
 
I quickly decided that i would rather have fretted for the time being so I got my first warwick back! its an ocean blue 2001 corvette proline hahaha. Bought it from the guy i sold it to. LOVE IT!!!1

Thanks! I love it! It does distort when I dig into any of the strings. Any thoughts? It's like it's clipping. New battery? Jack?
 
That blue looks amazing but my Proline is most certainly Green! My dad worked at a music store though so I got it shipped to my house from the factory... I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
 
I replaced the battery and it's all good.

Post some pics!!! I want a green one bad. Trade? Haha
 
You can see it in my avatar but I'll get some pics for yah soon. There's no way I would ever sell/trade this bass. It has been with me since I was 15 (I'm 24 now) and It's still my main baby. Plus I have modified the hell out of it.
