Not odd, just beefy feeling like an old Pbass. I like it a lot!

The low B on it has a lot of definition, like the ones on Warwicks do.
Bridge pickup solo'd for that classic Stingray sting. Middle position still sounds like a ray but with the deeper end of the neck pickup added.
Absolutely great sounding instrument, much better then the Music Man Sterling USA I had some years ago.

Lovely bass! I like that you went all in on the stingray tone but still has the neck single for doing what they do best. i ahve been watching alot of vidoes lately with killer rays and I always enjoy that thick tone.

Brought it along to rehearsals last night. It is an absolute monster and complements the Fodera and Zon (jazzes on steroids) very nicely. What a very distinct character this axe has.

I feel for some songs one fits better then the other, meaning I am being a spoiled little old brat. Any of those basses of course will do a great job.

Good to hear it works in the band. Should be no discussion with a Musicman, still it’s the moment of truth. I like it a lot to swap basses, now you have a bigger choice!
