NBD: I know... I couldn't help...

Since I'm a couple posts from 1000, I'm limiting my postings to this page. I'll post pics when it arrives to celibrate my 1000th post on the forum. Wals are just out of my price range, no matter how I think I could afford one if I save X amount of months, because I still spend little by little on other crap (Games, DVDs, Concert tickets, over priced Beer at Concert Venues, Shirts from Concerts, Movie trips, ect.)

Maybe the next time I post another NBD it will be a Wal... in approximately 5 years from now. LOL.

Hint: Is Warwick. Kinda shaped like Wal and another famous guitar/bass. Is Red. Is a 4 string. Is my second Warwick 4 string, all other wicks are 5 strings.

I'm fairly certain from those clues I know what it is...because I have one of those coming from the NY Custom Shop and will be here tomorrow.

Funny enough I've been looking at this bass a lot lately as well. Thru neck and all mahogany passive warmth which also has a killer slap tone. This is probably the best Warwick offers around the 1500 bucks mark! The other 'really cool' model being the AS P-Nut.
 
Kinda wished they made a 5 string version of it, but I'm sure I can manage with a 4 stringer. Should be here friday, or so says UPS. ;)

Yeah, but that's alright.

BTW, mine was waiting for me when I got home. It's a much different animal than my regular stable, as it's the most "traditional" sounding bass I have by a longshot. After the initial "I can't get that hi-fi clarit...oh yeah, this thing doesn't have that" shock, the tone is really nice and fat. I had a Hipshot DeTuner that I already threw on the E string, so we're ready to ROCK.
