hehehe i love it, i had never played a stand up before and my neighbor was just like here you can have this. the headstock is broken above the tuners so i cant tell what kind it is, but it sounds amazing even though the strings are dead!!! i cant wait to get it in tune with good strings and learn to play it right
 
on teh right is my corvette 4 standard, the stand up my next door neighbor gave to me yesterday
 
Nice!!! Now you can work on your rockabilly slap ala Lee Rocker.
 
Cool! Looks like an old Kay bass. Assuming the bridge is cut right and the sound post hasn't fallen loose, a new set of Thomastik rope-core strings & you'll be in business. Did you get a bow with it? Is there a pickup installed?

its a st. george and tahts about all i know about it.

it has a new bridge that seems to be too tall and one of the strings is beginning to fray, to but will all be taken care of this weekend
