While I was waiting for Corvette Stand. fretless 4 stringer I bought myself this beauty. It's in perfect condition and I got it only for 1K€ from the guy that both him self Infinity.Normaly I checked that thing too!Words can't describe it's sound and craftmanship :)

I have some pictures of my new baby that I want share with you...thou they're bad qualty coz' they're from my cell phone ( one of this days I'll take the new ones when I get my camera back )....nevertheless here they are!

P.S. It's two piece really dark ovangkol body with yellowish ovangkol neck!

P.P.S. I'm still waiting for my fretless ;(

How do you like the sound of the Thumb so far, compared to the Corvette ?? :D
 
The sound of Thumb is really great..thou for that crystal slap sound, when both pickups are on, I am still using Corvette...and I will in the future...Thumb is great for finger style playing and for deeper and darker slap sound...string spacing is really great for different more complicated style of playing...

And I'm really diggin' the sound of bridge pick-up with little extra bass on eq...thou I never really cared about soloing just the neck pickup on any of my basses.Does any of you play with just neck pickup on???

In my opinion two different beasts...
 
Hey, another thumb BO. They are really great, I love mine for the heavier stuff. :D

And DiabQ I am a big fan of the solo neck pickup for my fretless.

Yeah I know that for the most of people it's weird choice of amp and bass configuration :D Thou I like the way it sounds together. And It was very difficult to find that sound :lol:

I'll take some better pictures with my camera this weekend.
