Hi guys,

My rig has finally come together, some of the parts took ages to ship :evil: But its here now...

Its a Warwick ProFet 3.2 amp with a couple of WCA 211 Pro cabs. Sounds great but it is very quiet. If i had known how quiet it would be i would have opted for the 500W version. Oh well, live and learn!

I cant decide whether the amp looks better with the sleeve on or off :?
 
Nice pics, but I wouldn't call the rig complete until you put a Warwick bass next to the amp and cabs! :)

its an old yamaha keyboard, but it still works great so i keep it for emergencies.

i like the look of some of the warwick basses, but i dont think they are for me. i like my bass cos its fantastic for my style of music (its an ibanez edb-500)

i dropped my pick in my amp by accident when i left it on the top, and while it was open i thought id snap some pics of it just for good measure. looks pretty cool

not enough volume - quiet?
 
I think he means low volume - quiet.
the rig is nice, and you can do your job with it. You can always upgrade the head later...
 
Nice pics and nice gear.
I like the way you have the included the screws neatly at the side of the dismantled amp... that's in no way indicative of an anal personality... heh! heh!
 
Its prbably the 2x10's. I find them very quiet, if i was you i would swap one of them for a 15. 2 2x10s are never going to be as loud as a 4x10 generally.
 
if you are talking about the warwick 15" cab, then it has a lower sensitivity rating than the 2x10 cabs and will be quieter
 
a 2x15 with an svt 2 giving a clean tone, all the way through, and a 6x10 with a svt 2 for effects and overdriv, is my dream setup. I love 15's though.
 
Aguilar makes 1x12, 2x12, and a 4x12.

(As I'm sure other manu's aside from Marshall do as well.)

Why do you say 2 2x10 cabs won't be as loud as a single 410? Of course they are.

...also - the WCA115 Pro is quieter than the WCA211 Pro cab - so swapping one for a 15 would make things worse.

I have two of those 2x10 cabs and a Pro FET 5.1 - also recently had a Pro FET 3.2 also.

I find them to be plenty loud enough - just be sure to adjust the gain nicely to make sure you're getting the most out of your head.

The 5.1 is a bit louder if you find the 3.2 isn't doing it for you.

I dont think i'll be buying the ProFet 5.1 as my next head. I will probably buy another 2x10 cab, making a 6x10, and then find a loud head that can run down to 2ohms. that seems like the best idea to me
 
i dont think the cabs are too loud, but i would want more speakers to push more air anyway. they are rated at 300W max (and i dont like to push my equipment!)
 
Well, then if you were to go for a better 1x15 than the warwick one. Ive found most of them, are louder, than a 2x10 and give better bottom end, which just about most 2x10's are missing. Come one you must find a 2x10 is generally very quiet. Maybe warwick cabs arent that good, smaller amps sound louder through better speakers and better designed cabs. 300 watss can easilty get lost.

I just live by the "Go big or go home" motto.

It seems to work for the most part.

Plus, I'm a forum troll, you expect me to say something constructive? Shame on you!
