My new toy..

So i splashed out on a a set of mp3 decks, hercules dj console mk2 to be precise. Pretty fun piece of kit far from andyting profesional but good enough to learn the fundamentals behind djing. I've been mixing (badly all day) neighbors are probably pissed

i'm thinking of maybe learning the ropes and start doing it seriously as i have got a few mates who do it. Plus there are lots of opportunities at uni to do it so. Will make a nice change to bass playing and expand my musical repertoire as well!

I used to work in nightclubs as a DJ in the 80's & early 90's.

It was great fun beat mixing vinyl 12" records in ways only a muso would understand!!

Ive still got all my 12" records stored in the shed somewhere, I'd love to be able to afford 2 technics 1200's and a citronic mixer to play with again!!

Great way to meet chicks also!
