The original MEC electronics have been replaced. Its has custom Nordstrand pickups and Audere 18 volt 4 band preamp.The Audere preamp has vol, bal, stacked hi/lo mid, and stacked treble/bass. There is and a 3 way Q switch that replaced the parallel/series/single switch. The knobs are replacement knobs from Audere.

The knobs are Audere I believe....

I ended up paying $900.00 and shipping is free.

I can't wait for it to get here!! I'm super effing stoked!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :D :D :D :D
 
Congrats! What a great looking bass. I almost got it, but decided on the Vampyre SN 5 instead. Reason being the Jazzman was in pretty bad shape. Let us know how the Audere sounds!

Hey all! I got this bass from the seller about a week ago now and have been unable to set it down. The Audere 4 band Preamp is frickin' amazing. I can't believe how effortless it is to dial in any tone I can imagine. And the Nordstrad pickups are so huge sounding it feels like late 80's Mike Tyson knocking your a*s out! I am very impressed with the how much growl I can get out of it. Maybe I will post some sound clips sometime in the near future.
