Ok, so it's not a warwick.. :)

I've had this bass a few months now, but over the past 2 weeks (since I got it back from a pro setup by my local tech) I've absolutely fallen in love with this bass! I just love the look, and the sound is amazing!

It's a Kinal MK21 Custom bass...Mike Kinal originally made this bass for his stand at NAMM '04. It's got ...

AAAAA Flamed Maple Top (as usual, vastly more vivid in life than I can make it look in pics),
Matching headstock
Alder body,
Purpleheart and maple neck
Brazillian rosewood board
Bartolili soapbars (triple coil bucker at bridge, double at neck)
3-band Bart preamp (18V)
 
I think it's killer mate, but aren't one piece bridges taboo around here? :D
 
Yeah...s they kinda are.

Left that out too! It's all Hipshot hardware...even though the bridge is a one piece, it's got redeeming qualities! It lets me string either string-through-body, or alternatively to anchor the strings at the bridge base.
 
Thought it was a Hipshot bridge, I was playing with getting one for my RB Fortress 5. I think they make great bridges, the only kind I'd go for. I didn't after comparing the bolt patterns. I'd essentially have to rout out the entire bolt area and replace it. BTW, the RB Fortress is good enough for that bridge, I wouldn't even say that about my Ric, or MM or Streamer STD.
 
hipshot a types are sooooo sexy. Kinal rocks. I'd like to get one..... after a wick
 
We appreciate any kind of bass porn around here... nice bass!

I rather like the Warwick two piece bridge... but I did fit a Hipshot Type A to my P-bass (to replace the nasty bit of bent metal that comes as standard)... of course, also has the option for through-body stringing, which is definitely a bit of a bonus!
 
Doing pre gig soundcheck with Tv IV Dogs on saturday...show was killer!
