My band They just finished a 5 song demo we did 100% ourselves in our studio and I used a couple different Wicks. This is done on my Streamer Stage 2 with EMGs and a Seymour Duncan 3 band preamp. The last 3rd of the song is pretty good show of how it can sound in the high registry as well as the low. It is my favorite go to Warwick out my current 7. Thanks for checking out the tune....

Bass tone is awesome!
Drums could use some more weight within the mix (compress the living ♣♣♣♣ out of it hahaha).
Then again I kinda like the raw non-overproducedness of it!
 
Really cool, and the audio itself sounds great. Your music style is right up my alley!
 
Thanks shaft 311..We are limited to what we own in our own studio we did the best we could with the mics and such we got. Dude your comment about the rusty trombone in the other thread made me almost fall out of my chair!

Great stuff, man! I've even felt a desire to mix this track by myself :D To pump it up a bit, drums especially.
TOOL is a great band and your one is something really close to them, in a good sense ;)

Thanks all for the kind words. We were limited with some el crappo mics for the overhead mic placement and some of the raw tracks just were not stellar recording wise. We did the best we could on our own but like the saying goes you can't polish a turd. I voted to have someone outside our band with fresh ears maybe mix and master but the rest of the band thinks it isn't worth it..I'm one of 5 members and I can't control everything...But yeh I know what you mean..
 
Very good tone. I am impressed by the quality of this considering it was not 'professionally' done. It sounds like a well done recording before the effects were added.

This is my kind of style too, thanks for sharing.

Everything is fine here. I bet your next album will be professionally recorded & mixed. The World knows examples when a tune goes to be popular without being recorded well. From the other hand, perfect recording doesn't mean success. Music itself matters much more then recording quality (electronic music is out of rules here, cause it's based on the unique sounds and effects in most cases). Anyway, I got your feeling through this record, and enjoyed it. That means the job is done right :D
