It's called The Lonesome Forest :-)

Kisu Ukkonen
It's mostly just tapping but there's also some fingerstyle and slapping in there. I'm very happy with this record, even the quality isn't that good. I did my best and this is it. Hope you like it too. Please if you find yourself a spare half an hour, close your eyes and listen to the whole album.

Tell me what you think !

Oh man, that's a spiritual sound u got there, totally impressed by the tone and music.

i'm wondering about your action setup on the corvette, whats your setup?

Thanks for sharing this beautiful music, and Happy new year :)

-Mo

Thanks ! Glad you like it.

The most of the sound is just my corvette (flat) and BC150 (mids boosted) but in many songs you can also hear delay or reverb from boss ME-50B

Ha ... I just listened to da whole cd (on line) and I must say that tho I'm not a fan of solo bass playing da whole time, that I am very impressed by ur playing skillz man ...I think U did a great job and it waz just as U promised it to be ... extremely relaxing ... 8:

Thank you Rob ! According to the bandcamp stats, you are the only one who listened the whole album. You know, I really appreciate that.

I listened it myself last night and fell asleep during the third song, it's really relaxing ! Good if you have sleeping problems

Good for you Kisu!

:d

I think it's fantastic that you've produced an album!

I ordered your CD, and I look forward to having a good listen when it arrives.

Cheers,

;)

Luke.

Thanks for support Luke ! Nice thing you ordered the actual cd as I saw a lot of work with those and was afraid no one would buy one. The parcel is on it's way now btw ;)

Thanks!

I'm looking forward to it.

I'm one who generally stays away from solo bass, but I really dig what your doing. I'm on the second song right now and I really like the playing and the whole vibe of it. One of the first bass players I've heard who uses tapping to make actual music and not just to impress with the technicality of it.

Hi Kisu!

I received my CD today and I'm enjoying it as we speak. You've done a great job.

:d

Thanks,

Luke.

Oh I didn't notice your message as I'm enjoying the sun !
Yes I like more doing peaceful and melodical music than technical hassle. And I enjoyed the whole process of doing this album, I started by walking and playing in the forest, nature and enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets in summer and then just started to build songs from feelings.
I recommend this whole album doing process for everyone ! Great experience indeed
