Received my '07 Bubinga 'Vette (passive) from member JSmith almost one year ago. Has been a truly wonderful bass, has never let me down, is super durable, and can still produce that lovely growl even with if my strings are getting dull. :)

Unfortunately upon arrival I only had some crappy cell pics to post up of the gorgeous wood grain, but I just got a new camera (Canon T3) and put on a wide angle lens to better display the beauty!

Guess I should clean the fingerboard soon!:

And I found a cool little trick this bass has to offer as I like to switch between finger style and plectrum quite frequently, sometimes even mid song.

Thanks to JSmith and Warwick for the best bass I've ever played!

Cool bass and the pics are really awesome!

What a beauty!!!
Have I mentioned before that the corvette shape is slowly becoming my favourite?

Are you using a macro extension tube on your T3? Or some kind of fish-eye?

Nice pics, man.

Still miss this bass on occasion. Glad it's in a good home. :)

WarPick holder :)
You should get a patent on that name!

Thanks Florin, I'm biased to agree. I think it would be perfect with a little bit of a convex shape on the top a-la Streamer.

Thanks! Yup, I had on a 18-55mm lens, and then on the thread at the end of it I had a x.45mm macro lens attached. It has sort of a fish-eye effect if not zoomed in like it isn't here. It helps a lot in bringing out fine details but distorts some scenes further away.

Still miss this bass on occasion. Glad it's in a good home. :)

Thanks again, it is fantastic!

What a stunning look! Congrats!

My vette doesn't look that good...

I hear they use JSmith's foreskin to cover the infield at Yankee Stadium!
