Hey guys, i've not been about for a while now. Still alive but have had to return home from uni 2 week early this term as i caught mumps.

Basically i've have my face swell up and be bed ridden for about a week so far, thus no computer access,or well doing anything. Its all calming down now and i've got another week or bed rest and recovery whilst the swelling subsides.

has a great picture of what i looked like!

Probably see more regular posts again once i'm up and about.

I'm not even looking at the wikipedia link...
There was a lot of Mumps going around when I was at University... wonder if it's having all those students squashed together in one space or something. I had Mumps when I was a baby, but I believe in adult men it can be a bit of a problem in the nut department... so I hope you haven't suffered too much or anything.
Get well soon!

"Mumps".... at first at thought it was the new Robin Williams-movie. :)

Have a nice recovery, mister. Hope you get some bass-practice while you rest.

no pics no mumps. Come on, this is a perfect Kodak moment!

Cheers guys, feeling much better now with most of the swelling gone. can actually get up do stuff and play bass again!

I have no pics tbh taking a pic didn't even cross my mind!

Hopefully by the end of the week all the swelling will have subsided and i can leave my house again without fear of infecting anyone.

+1 on the pics Callum.
I remember having mumps in infants school,I was 4 or 5.It felt like I'd been kicked in the ballz & then had my ballz inserted into my(face) cheeks.
My mums just said that mumps can make a man sterile & to steer well clear of pregnant women.
Hang in there mate.

good to hear its all calming down now mate

and lollll....trust greg :P
