Modding my vette

well, the deed is done, but I get no output. I suspect the jack is to blame, but all the resistance values check out (at the pickups and at the kjack as well).

One slight problem is that I miscalculated the space left for the battery, so it's a bit cramped. I should have pushed the switches closer to the neck. But nothing severe.

I'll have another look tomorrow.

Thanks guys for the support btw. It was heart wrenching putting the drill to the wood, and doing such major work, but it had to be done. No point being pussy footed! :)

I'll feel better once I get this working smoothly!

And I need to have a tech have a look at the neck. The first fret is well worned, but that can be fixed I'm sure.
 
All done :) It's working fine (mixed up the tip and ring for the jack). I've found a cushy spot for the battery too.

I'll post clips later on.

I'm pretty chuffed. I will most probably change the pickups too, but that should be straight forward really.

what are the two switches for?
 
That mod looks really professional,well done.
Graham,the switches are to select different frequencies on the eq. :wink:
