Gday guys

Just recently picked up my Warwick Pro410 cab. Now i know that Warwick started making some cab/amps on china a while ago... Does anyone know about when this started? Im trying to find out if my cab is made in Germany or China.

Peace

Hi, I'm also curious. I know that the boxes made after 2005 are from China, but don't know exactly when in 2005 .. it is a shame that the professional line too is made also in China .. the only amps made in Germany are the tubepath and the x-treme, all the cabinets and combos are made in China. but this is business.

i have the 410 and 115 both made in china and the quality is brilliant

i'm pretty sure it says on the cabs where they were made...i'll check mine on saturday and get back to you

We still have our German people managing the factory in China. The cabinets still sound great and we still use the same materials to build them.

Except from the cheap removable casters, those cabs really move lots of air! And at this price, they're just awsome..

My amp & cab are both Chinese built,I havent had them long but so far so good as far as quality goes.I dont care if it was built in Timbuktoo,as long as it turns on & spits out that gorgeous tone. 8)

and let's not forget that almost 90% of the worldwide electronics manufacturing is made in china :D

I have serial number .. 0000035 05, could anyone know where it was made? just for information .. the made in china thing is subjective and i only can say that if BMW and Mercedes were made from now in china, they will not be the same ... in my opinion. all new cars goes the same when they are new, but everybody knows that german cars will LAST. the time will show us the truth :) but .. if something will go wrong some day with that cabinet i wont choose anymore Warwick and i will supose that the mistake is because of that china thing. why must be afraid from that thing when it is easy .. if you want good things you pay double and get german things, and if you want cheap you get china things? i don't understand. or maybe a posibility for those who have money is the custom shop. i don't know but is disturbing to not have any possibility, but one, China. why not Japan, like Sadowsky? or you can see Rockbass or Warwick german bass. that is a very good paralel.

thanks

I have just purchased a 411ND (4x10Neo). The cab sounds great. I must say I was a wee bit 'put off' with it being made in China,, but I guess this is a sine of the times. Can someone advise me on the timber construction.. Are they made with with 'birch ply'?? And the speakers. Are these Celestion 'Orange Label'??.. Any info would be apprecaited.. I cant find anything about them on the web!!,, Thanks

TubePath 10.1
411ND
Thumb Bolt On (Dirty Blond)
Rickebacker 4003
Ernie Ball Sterling

Itd be nice if Warwick was fair trade certified. But that may only be with food stuffs.

Still, I would be more open to Warwick cabinets if I knew that the cabinets where under fair trade standards...

Do other instrument companies work under fair trade certifications? I can tthink of any. Plus, being conservative, you dont want to hear my views on fair trade

Well, alot of companys keep work in the United States, like Eden, Epifani, Ampeg, Aguilar, Accugroove.

And i belive that House of Speakers and Glockenklang both still work out of Germany.

someone on ebay mentioned that the chinease cabs are black and the german ones are dark blue. this is confusing because both of mine were brought recently so i presumed they're by the chinease ones. however although the carpetting is very dark it is definatly blue. anyone got some german ones and are the germans one JET black???
