Had my first real gig in years. (Outside of a church or coffee shop) The singer Heather won a contest on a site called TopBlip.com, where we got to compete at the Key Club in LA, for $1000, which she ended up winning. Very cool night overall, promoters were newer and rushed a lot of things, but redeemed themselves by paying the bar tab up to $1000 at one point. The bar got rushed when they made that announcement.

Anyway, bass related. Got to run my LX through the house rig: SVT-4 and Ashdown? cab. The volume to me was light even though I had it cranked, couldnt figure that part out. But in sounds decent in this video. There were lots more filming and taking pics, I will upload the other songs if they surface.

BTW, dont give me crap for playing Bieber, wasn't my choice.

You can check out her stuff at:

You coulda said 'NO' to the bieburr song ya know... ;) J/K m8 good chops.

A little late I know, but great playing. It sounded really tight. And tbh, this is the type of band that would have the best chance at actually making money!

Thanks for the compliments guys. It was a crazy fun night, hope there is more like that to come.

She mentioned spending the money for studio time (we got a really nice studio over here for $25/hour so that would give us 40 hours.) so hopefully we can get moving and get her a CD made, then start doing some shows.

Was hesitant to share the rest of the set once I watched it. The Bieber song ended up being the best song IMO regarding mistakes and rough spots.

Here you go.

Played a cool version of Little Drummer Boy at our church last night. Check it out:

Not much going on bass-wise, but thought the song was cool. Music starts at 3:00 or so.
