I am very new to Bass decided at 74 time to learn an instrument of course the bass guitar. I have a Warwick corvette basic Made in China. I really like it. Question does Warwick make a corvette $$ made in Germany?

Hi @Bobk1369 ! Welcome to the forum!

Yes, Warwick do make one, you can find info about it here: en/Warwick---Products--Instruments--Pro-Serie---Teambuilt--Pro-Serie---Teambuilt--Corvette--Corvette-$$.html

Although I would not buy direct from Warwick, it is usually more expensive.

Thomann seem to have a Made in Germany Corvette in stock: Warwick Pro Series Corvette Bubinga 4

Please note, I am a Framus (guitar) player, I'm sure someone will be along shortly who knows more about Warwick basses than I :-)

Yes they do, you can probably buy it used. There are many of them. Please note most of the older one have Ovangkol necks with Wenge Fretboards, which are a little bit thicker than pure Wenge necks.

Look for a light bass - my Corvette 4 in bubinga is at 5kg. Most Corvette or Streamer $$ are around 4-4.5 kg. If you are located in the EU, there is a big market for 2nd hand Wicks.
If you go for a new one, Thomann.de (many countries/languages) is a good address

That depends largely on where you are in the world... If you look on a site such as Reverb or on Ebay, you may get an idea of the cost where you live.
