Lacquer used on high-gloss finishes

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the high gloss finishes is nitro-cellulose or a catalyzed polymer lacquer?

accordng to the tech at warwick when i asked about my rockbass, he said it was a stain covered in polyurathane... but i tried polyurathane remover on mine and it didn't work, so i'll be calling them again today.
