Sorry, that was a sad attempt at a play on words, hehe.

Anyhow, firstly, do they make a JAN II for 5 string with thinner string gauging for EADGC stringing? I know I can just fill in the slots with something to make them smaller, but I'd like to know if they actually do manufacture a JAN II for 5 string tenor bass applications. Secondly, what's this about them coming out with a JAN III? Anyone know what it's like? My hope is that it's a brass version of the JAN II, hehe.

The jan3 is still wilferite... And to my knowledge they dont make a tenor string guage setup in the jan series.

I've strung up my old FNA Jazzman 5 string with the high C and I didn't have to adjust anything. Granted, the nut isn't filed out for this, but it still works fine. A little extra space in the slots didn't affect the strings at all.
