jazzman preamp pots

I have an '01 Streamer LX Jazzman, I'm wondering what the 2 pots on the preamp circuit board do. Thanks.

could you post pics? it will be easier to answer the question if we see what you mean.

Those two pots control the amount of mids scoop and bass boost when you pull the upper part of the stacked knob (which activates the slap preset).
It also means you have Seymour Duncan electronics (now an option as the MEC is standard today).

I think one of them is as you said the slap contour and the oither is the frequency selector on the mid pot. One of my friends sold his FNA Ltd 2004 and he had 2 or 3 pull options on his pots. his name is Otto07. send him a PM and he can tell you more info. He had the same issue. :wink:\

As I (poorly) tried to say :
- one pot controls the bass boost
- the other one controls the mid scoop

both of them are activated when the knob is pulled-up.
