Hey I know this should be in the buy/sell spot but here goes with me breaking the rules.

I got my 2 local dealers to call Efkay (Warwick dist. here in Can) and they said they don't have any JAN 1's. Only JAN 3.

I called bull♣♣♣♣ but they insist. Now everyone on here told me to just order the brass nut's because I was trying to buy an SS2 vintage simply because of them and they thought that was a little over the top. At any rate I guess the majority of people were wrong because they don't seem to carry any. This leads me to my question: does anyone have any?

I need two 5 string JAN 1's and one 4 string.

I'm trying to sup up my Dolphin, Corvette and Infinity with Brass nuts.

Also: I WILL post this in the buy/sell but anyway here goes.

I traded my SSII 5string 2006 for a 91 SSII 4 string. I hate it. I want a 5 back.

Does anyone want to trade their SSII 5string (early era brass nut, circa 91-98) for it? Or perhaps an SS1 maple 5 string of the same era? I realize cash will be in the trade on my part. Just let me know via PM!

Final note: I also love the wenge necks in the old SSII's so thats another reason. Thanks!

Well I think you took me the wrong way.

I never spoke to them. I have 2 dealers. Both called and asked and both were told the same story, that they DO NOT carry JAN 1's. Everything but the 3 is discontinued.

All I'm saying is I was told otherwise. Basically, people on here told me ages ago that you CAN get them ordered through Warwick. I guess they were wrong because Efkay told Long and McQuade (largest wariwck dealer in Canada) and my local music store that they are discontinued.

And as far as the bull crap comment. That was never literal either. I called bull crap as in, I told my local music store that I was told otherwise and that they were bull♣♣♣♣ting me. So that way they'd call back. I never ONCE told efkay that they were pricks or that they bull♣♣♣♣ me.

Regardless my initial post will now be edited as to avoid confusion.

EDIT: I see why you misread my comment: I said I called efkay. Well, I got my 2 local warwick dealers to call them. My bad. Sorry to you Greg and anyone else who read my post. Also, in regards to your last statement Greg: you are right, they are a bunch of good guys. Guess Canada's Warwick dealer simply doesn't have any Brass Nuts.

I pretty much gave up on efkay a long time ago.
Their customer service are, for a lack of better vocabulary in my part, lackluster.

Now what's the word on the double neck you ordered?

They just need to order them... I mean, it's not a big deal at all, it's not called "help" it's called .... (I have to translate from ROmanian) - selling... stuff... to the custommer. The Warwick brass bridge is a product we have...

I just bought a JAN1 [or equiv, hard to say .... ]
as an AllParts part, in AllParts packaging. Haven't
tried it on a Warwick yet but I did compare it [by
critical eyeballing] to a Wick hanging in the same
store. Looks very right to me. Plus I'm aware that
swapping out a 2 or a 3 for a 1 always requires a
touch of the blade or file anywayz ....

Actually, I got it priced through Long and McQuade again and got a better price recently despite the economy. So I put a downpayment on it and am currently paying on it. My wife WISHES I came to my senses! :d
