Saw him in York, UK on Monday night - utterly brilliant on keyboards and bass - and vocals of course. He was playing what looked like a pretty standard Thumb neckthrough fretless, via Hartke amplification (2 4x10 cabs) and he had a monster tone, very growly and edgy.

Yes I think he pretty much plays only his old thub NT fretless. He loves that bass so much he said (IIRC) that losing that bass will make him to stop playing music... or something.
