I'm puzzled! I'm no expert on the Thumb range and certainly wouldn't claim to know a lot about the Jack Bruce signature model however I found this bass on eBay...
Now the 24th fret inlay, LEDs, controls/switch, dble battery compartment etc all indicate that this is genuine BUT I thought all of the 'signatures' on the body were factory inlays. This one looks badly hand drawn and features a Greenpeace style emblem underneath his name, which I don't recall the factory production models having, does that seem wrong to others?
I've no idea why anyone would do that and it can't be a fake as all of the other details are correct. Is it one of JB's own basses? A puzzle!
