It may be a very crazy idea, Three things:

-1) You can order a wenge body? ( In a ocacion, ollie said that the CS department can make "practically" anything 8) ) It would be very heavy instrument? How this wood is going to sound?

-2) It is possible to build a NON-HOLLOW BODY Infinity? Already exists and I wouldn't have noticed??

-3) SSII Broad-neck with J/J Pups?

i dont think you can get a wenge body might be wrong but dont thinkso, its becomeing a rare wood and i think you can only get it on CS necks, and obvisously fingerboards. not sure about the other Q's those.
 
i saw wenge basses but don't like them .. however, the wenge body was available in the bodywood options :wink: i think it is possible.

about the j's i don't know if warwick made bigger j's then for normal 5 stringers .. for the 6 stringers i saw only one model in the cs gallery with j's, the markus setzer bass ..

1) yes, very heavy indeed, very low end focused but not deep like mahogany

2) no sorry, there were the Infinity TCS which have tone chambers, They are not hollow body but they ain't solid body and they are discontinued

3) I'd say yes since I've seen a SS1 with jazz pickups and that there's a CS option that let you make a SS2 broadneck
 
well its still possible to order an SN through the Custom shop right?

1- Yes, it is possible. The sound is ballanced, and very focused. Being a heavy, dense wood, it has nice mids.
2- We have the Infinity SN, discontinued, but you still can order it through the CS.
3- Yes, for 6 strings only, we have the pickups that were special designed for Markus Setzer.

I think I've seen a full Wenge 6 string Thumb NT............. 8) The new Nobby has got Wenge in the back as well......... 8)

I doubt it would be one piece... I would say the construction is the same as other neck thrus (i.e. body wings glued to laminated necks)
