Is this a left or right tuner?!

Hi,

See the photo below; is this machine head a "left" or "right" one? Just so I know which ones to buy to complete a 5 string set.

If you're looking at the bass from above, it would go on the right side (think G string). It'd be nice to get someone else's confirmation though.
 
yeah i think its the right side (for the small strings)

P.S. Whats the surface under the machine head ? :?

Bloody minging isn't it. When I moved into this house I found a "poof" in the attic and thought it's a great thing to put my feet on whilst watching the tv.....it's seen better years. I should get rid....

Might put it on ebay.
 
hehe i'll start the bidding on the poof at 50p, and up it to 75p if you can promise me there's no small parasites living amongst that fine-looking upholstery
