Is there a remedy for a dried out looking body?

Hello, and welcome to the forum. I don't know, both basses look shiny and well maintained to me, can you be a little more specific with which pictures look dried out on the first bass?

Perhaps "dried out" is the wrong term. What I'm really getting at is the white looking pores. I don't like the contrast of whitish pores against the bubinga body. Is it just wax building up in the pores?

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.

But seriously, wax will make it shine.

I don't see the white spots you are talking about in the pics of the Thumb in the ebay auction you linked.

For a dried out looking body the remedy is plastic surgery or finding a new wife who's younger. 8:

LOL, Marco... :D

As other fellas said, the solution is wax.
