this is kinda unrelated to warwicks but are passive pickups always compatible to active elctronics ? say for instance a bass has active pickups/electronics, would it be possible to replace the active pu's with the passive pu's ?

you can ALWAYS use passive pickups with active electronics.

but you can't use active pickups in passive mode (because their signal is to weak)

and: always take care to use the right potentiometers.
