Sense everyone else is doing mock ups, I figured I would get on my POS editor and have a go.

the thumbs body is so small, wouldnt your hand kind of get caught in the top hole if you pull your hand away and go to put it back on the pickup up without looking? just a thought

Never thought of that. But I always use either the pick ups or the top string to rest my thumb on...

Maybe a 6 String NT would work.. with the wider body.

Here's my version of the Infinithumb.

man are you just insanely fast, or simply got way too much time?

anyway, awesome work as always and it looks superb.

The mock up work is good, but I don't like the Infinthumb...

thanks for your ideas.... I especially like the version from thndrstk6

Gregory,
Check out the single cut thread if you haven't already. Let us know what you think of those too.

[Noob alert!]

Hey guys. This looks awesome, but do the holes necessaily have to be F-holes? Why not something like on some of the Jerzy Drozd basses?

Whatever which way, if this bass existed, I would gladly sell a kidney for it!

I was thinking of putting a different kind of hole on it but just went traditional.

p.s.- Welcome to the forum Phoenix

the problem i have with non-f-hole holes is that they are, well, non-traditional, which for some reason is very important for my perception of the holes in a bass... Jerzy does it very elegantly, and I'm sure that it could be done, but it can also look odd, like this:

Oh, and welcome Phoenix!

It looks like a whale! A big nose and an opened mouth.
It's The MobyWarwiDick!! :D :D

We actually called it the manta. After the manta ray. If you go to the single cut warwick thread you can see a steady progression into chaos with this manta idea. Here's a link to the thread.
