I just found this forum today and decided to dive straight in. I've been playing bass on and off for quite a few years. I used to play in a band back in the late '80s/early '90s but hadn't played much since then - until recently. I'd gotten rid of my bass amps but kept my basses around to noodle on occasionally.
After a couple of jams with friends, I've been persuaded to take up the bass seriously again. I also play guitar but to be honest, I'm probably a better bassist than guitarist :?
So yesterday I managed to snag a new bass, a '95 Corvette Proline 5-string. I'll be looking for an new amp soon as well.
