in the caffe! this is a first (not...)
i was in boston the last weekend. my dad was running the marathon. it went well, he finished, so i couldn't ask for much more. i don't like boston as a city though.
also, i got to play a Thumb BO 5 strings and a FNA Jazzman. Both really cool basses, i the thumb now! :twisted:

but that would explain my recent absence.

so what did i miss?
 
Not much...we discussed the merits of various basses, pickups and woods...

...oh, and Benjamin's 'friend' contracted a nasty infection!
 
Well, I've missed out on three deals on identical Thumb NT 5 in less than 5 days, but now warwickhunt has a kick-a** streamer from 87, formerly owned by Helloween bassist Markus Grosskopf, for sale, which I might aqquire, I also watched the best football (real football, what you'd call soccer :wink: ) match so far this season tonight, while binging on a bag of potato chips and a 1,5 L bottle of Coke!
