Identify this vintage framus please - i think a 1971 framus....???? Thanks!~

Hey folks,

Finishing up a great vintage bass. I am 99% sure its a German Framus from 1971. Solid Body, awesome thin neck with block inlays - all original from what i gather.. i have the tuners as well. Not sure will keep them on it or replace them...

Any of you vintage honchos know with 100 pct certainty?

Hi Joey, are yu sure it is a Framus? I've never seen one like this...

I.ve seen some old framus, but this one seems to be different. Anyway, we had many models, so it is possible to be one of ours :)
 
Nice Bass, though I'm not sure it's a Framus. The tuss rod looks more japanese to me. Perhaps a Teisco? They made basses like that.
I "think" body could be plywood, and laminated neck, made from 3 to 4 pieces of maple. The small block inlays could also point to Teisco. Most likely Late 60ties, early 70ties.
