The question is very simple: I'd like to buy a Thomastik Jazz E-Bass 6 strings Flatwound set for my Thumb BO Fretless.
This is the scale .033 .043 .056 .070 .100 .136
Is anyone here who can tell me if this set will enter in the damned tailpiece of Warwick Thumb?
I don't know if theese strings are tapered or with a pyramidal ending.
Now I've a set of D'Addario Chrome and for fitting thme into the tail piece I had to uproot the blue yarn

I'm sure when I tell you Thomastik Jazz E-flats, that once I suggested to you, are not tapered so you're gonna have to file the tailpiece or use a plier/vise grip/channel lock (delle pinze, così ci capiamo ) and flatten the part that must fit into the forementioned tailpiece.
I had to do the same thing that you did with D'Addario Chromes on my Corvette $$ 5er, but TI Flats have got no silk to remove...

I think they'll fit.
.135 rounds can be made to fit with a little persuasion, so I think flats might possibly slide right in without much, if any, work.

I have the 5 string set on my SSII right now.
.043 .056 .070 .100 .136
I did not have to make any modifications to the tail piece. They all went in perfectly fine. Now, this is the 5 string set, so i can't speak intelligently about the 6 string set, but if i didnt have a problem with the E or B, i'm sure the C will go in fine
