Its the Corvette SE Backline! Sexy looking bass! I dont think this one is available here in the US. Fact is, I cant even find a price.. Anybody know what these are selling for?

I've never seen one. It looks a little like the Corvette Hot Rod Ltd. I'd say your best bet is Custom Shop if you actually want it, but that will run you the big bucks.

I found it on the products page at Warwick.de. Found it under Products/Corvette/Special editions. Sure looks cool! Since my Corvettes Neck went south, and not so sure Im going to be able to get it fixed...Im kinda looking around...LOL

It's a Hot Rod lTD 2005 Corvette.

*the 5 string has soapbar split coil pickups instead of the reversed mirrored P's on the 4.

:idea: But,If ya left out say the tone chambers & the fancy pants ekanga veneers & opted for an all maple body or a maple top with an ash back,it'd keep the price down quite a bit.

Wow Thomas, that's a fancy lookin' bass, even i (as a big Streamer fan) ikes this, looks like the one i your picture has got an ebony fingerboard, cool 8)

I can't see pics here at work but if it is a LTD Hot rod here are two:

5 stringers:

The bass in question has the "mirror P-PUs", similar
to an old USA BC Rich, which is dual P-PU but not in
a "mirror" config. The basses in the links have dual
wide soapbar PUs.

Dual split coil, aka P-PU, configs are more common
than your eyes will tell you. Some "soap bar" PU's
are actually rectangular shells covering staggered
split coils. You can "see" this by testing with a small
ferrous object [bridge saddle wrench] to locate the
actual pole slugs hidden under the cover.

Anywayz, I like my P-PUs staggered in the reverse
config [opposite of Fender], no matter where they
are located or how many are on the bass.

I guess the difference in the pickups between his desire and the ones in the links is that the ones in the links are 5 stringers and his is a 4 stringer.

here is the info:

it says mirror dual p-pickups on th 4 stringer and dual humbuckers on the 5.
