i just had my second visit to the northeastern coast of spain, staying in a luxury hotel/spa/resort in a small village called Calafell, about an hour south of Barcelona. it was great. took a short trip to barcelona, mainly for the food, and then another trip down to Tarragona. short trip and amazing food. fooooood!!! i want to go back! everyone should go there. all the time! let's uh... have a um... warwick gettogether there sometime! soon!

sorry. i'm just really excited. and hungry and i'm desperately trying to find these small peppers called pimientos de padrón here in stockholm but no luck so far. :)

cheers to all you warwickians on the iberian peninsula! :)

(and to the rest of you!)

I love Barcelona! Such a nice place! There Gaudi, Picasso, Miro and up north you've got Dalì...what could be better?!?!
Glad you enjoyed youself!

Pimientos... isn`t that paprika? they call it red pepper too, but I think its a name for paprika. Filled ones?

Spain is great, btw. I have a friend with a house outside Benidorm. Own pool and stuff. We should get a hangout there. Chicks ain`t too bad either.

I love olives with pimientos inside! They are great. You should find them at any nearby ICA :)

Olives with pimento rank second only to olives stuffed with gorgonzola or feta cheese!!!

Spain sounds nice, if such w :)ares are in abundant supply?

the pimientos de padrón are smaller than paprika, and with more bite, stronger, spicier. but not like a chili.

mmmm olives! green ones! marinated in garlic and oil. mmmmmm.... :)
