How to hook up 2 cabs on Tubepath 10.1?

Hey guys!

I've recently won a brand new Warwick stack, consisting of a Tubepath 10.1, a 411 pro and a 115 pro.

Because there is only one speakon-connector in the back, I have to run the 115 through the 411..but I'm not sure which connectors on the speakers I have to use and if it makes any difference (because they have 2 on the back and none of them is implying ins or outs).

Could someone please enlighten me?

(and I know this is a crosspost, sorry for that..new guy here :oops: )
 
It doesn't matter as far as I know. Just run a speakon from the amp to the first cab, and then whichever lead you have after that to link to the next cab.

Sounds like you have a won an amazing stack. People would kill for that set up.
 
You won it? I could sell my body to the night for that stack! =O

Thanks Mr Bassman Sax, now I can play without being scared of blowing stuff up :)

And Benjamin: Yeah, I won it in a contest in a new Dutch magazine for bassists..they picked the winner out of all the subscribers on the 5th of December and I was the lucky bastard that won the damn thing 8) I've had the chance to try it out in two band-rehearsals and it sounds awesome, combined with my Kubicki Ex-Factor!

Sweeeet :) I have to wait half a year or so to buy my stack, depends if I'm buying ProFet 5.2 or Xtreme 5.1 :)

I think if I could choose between the ProFet or the X-treme, I'd definitely go for the X-treme. The thing not only looks incredible, from what I've heard it also sounds as good as it looks!

First I thought I would have been happier with an X-treme, because I pretty much like a more modern, snappy, punchy sound..but with very very little tweaking I got the sound I was looking for out of my Tubepath (contour on 3, rough and the 2nd stage engaged together with the Hi Boost..and then I was done!)

Of course, the guitar I use is great as well..but finding an amp that complements this has been a real eye opener :) And these 411 cabs have some damn fast speakers!
 
I'd be surprised if you weren't happy. You'll be catching peoples attention, especially when they realise it's not Ampeg, Hartke or Ashdown etc, but something better. 8)

I'm already catching the attention by playing my bright-yellow Kubicki, so combined with this setup, people definitely won't know what hit them 8)

The missing knob on the Kubicki was order and installed a week ago, this was NOT working for me :P

That's where you have a very valid point! Luckily I'm not the smallest guy in the world and have no trouble lifting the stuff..but I have to admit I was looking for something a bit smaller and lighter when this prize came my way.

This thing won't go to all the gigs of course and because of the fact that I mainly play smaller venues and the soundguys almost get heartattacks when they see a 15" on stage, that will be left home most of the time (or perhaps as a riser). Fact is, a lot of the gigs have a backline already present and I have no problems with running my bass straight from DI-box to the PA-system..so on stage sound really isn't a biggy, as long as I can hear myself.
 
I find most sound guys just need to sort themselves out.

What kind of music you gonna be playing though? cus if it is rock or metal then it should be a big stack. Even if I have less room I'll use my own setup, but then I don't like using other peoples amps.

A really good soundguy is very hard to find, absolutely. With those damned Behringer DI's!

We play ska, punk and reggae, with a hint of funk due to the preference of the rythm-section. So a big stack isn't really necessary, although I do enjoy my jeans flapping around my legs when I turn the volume up :P

And room isn't the problem. If you can fit a 210 on the stage, you can fit a bigger stack without trouble. And other peoples amps are fine for me, usually..I do always ask what's present as a backline and if it's not to my liking, I'll bring the house down with my Warwick next time 8)
