Hi all,

I am offered a Warwick Streamer, which is said to be build in Germany. How can I determine whether it is really a German made Streamer or a Warwick Pro Streamer?
I only have pictures of the bass....

Thx
Kai

Hi Kai,

Check the serial number. The korean one start with "PS", the German ones start with only one letter determining the month
Also the german ones have (usually) wenge or ovankol necks which are darker, the korean ones use light looking maple nicks.
Welcome to the forum :-)

Unless it's a Corvette - it's much easier to just look at the price tag than the serial number ;)

Also, if it is a Corvette, keep an eye out for the ekanga (sic) laminates in the neck.

well its good if u can ask for picture of the bass and also the year it was made. pro series are korean. i believe there is a streamer proline? which is german made.

"Streamer proline"? No, I think it was a Corvette Proline, but that model was discontinued many years ago.
