That's Right Honey, I'm Home! After a month and a half of hassles and waiting, I finally got my internet access. It baffles the mind actually ... I was living in a little podunk town in Oregon and had no trouble getting DSL. I move to a big city and have trouble getting broadband access. Couldn't get DSL, and played hell getting cable modem access. The cable company literally made me wait a month for a tech to come out with the modem to "set me up". Seriously??? Well, I'm online now so I guess I shouldn't really fixate on the journey and just be happy I am finally back online ... But c'mon, one and a half months ... Well, in the words of the Grateful Dead; what a long strange trip it's been.
I'm so happy to be back ... I missed you all so much. You know, we all call each other brother or bass brother and say how this community is like a family, and as cool as that might sound, I'm sure that many out there think there just words. A happy sentiment, but how much real feeling and real emotions can there really be for people we have never really met and only communicate with over the internet. Well, let me tell you ... When you find yourself seperated from this community, you really find out how much like a family it really is. I have to say, I was really surprised how much I really missed you all. It was alot like your best friend moving away ... You really don't realize just how valuable that friend was to you until their gone. Let me tell ya, it sucked. I missed you all so much. This community trully is a family, and I consider each and everyone of you my brother.
I want to say Thank You to all of you that said such nice things in my thread. It was really cool to see that so many of you are such good liars ... hahaha. Seriously, I was very touched by the things you all said and am so glad to be back.
I know some of you are missing my trademark, Long-Winded and rambling posts, so I write a really long post a little later tonight to tell ya all about the adventure that has been my life for the past few months.
Anyway, for those of you that tend to skip to the end of my posts to try and find the meaning and/or punchline, let me recap. I was gone, now I'm back, and I missed you all very much!
