Any advertisement that says 'Makes a great gift too' makes me think of late night 'infomercials'. 'Perfect for beginner or student' just screams 'high quality'!! :roll:

But hey, for the price, maybe its the perfect bass to smash on stage in a fit of adolescent rock-n-roll angst! :D
 
does not even have a brand name!!! I bet that is not even real wood just a veneer maple looking with lacquer on top and if yuou open the elec cavity (maybe it is active) you'll find portions of the SUnday cartoons embodied in the body (made out of newspaper like a Pinata)
