Can't figure it out, want a 'vette $$ and i dont know what knob does what and which switch position is which?... any answers appreciated cheers... noob question sorry haha but i'll be gettin my 1st w'ick soon enough woo!

I think from front to back: Master volume, pick up balance, high and low (2band EQ). The mini-switches are for single coil (mid) and series/parallel. If I'm right up is series and down is parallel?
 
That's right.

I wouldn't mind having a complete user manual and sound guides of my Streamer $$, too much things to mess up :roll:

Florin can we have a little guidance on that? :_)
 
That manual came printed with my Warwick, but I couldn't find it. I had to guess, but fortunately right:)

Hey Rizzo,
You can use it as you like, in the end you have a very vesatile bass, and you can create cool sounds for your needs.

But if you are interested, we can give you some tips, but don't take them as strict rules to follow.
- The humbucker pickups (when used series or parallel) sounds better alone.

So your bass's main sound should be:
Only bridge pickup.
Parallel (switch down)

For a P bassish sound - the same thing - but with the neck pickup, eventually series (switch up)

Both pickups , and switches in the middle position - similar setting for a Jazz Bass sound (corvette Std)

You can mix the bridge pickup as a humbucker (switch down) with the neck pickup as a single coil - switch in the middle.

For slap you can use more the neck pickup single coil.

I hope I gave you some hints, you can start from here. Avoid boosting lows.

Wow, Very nice guide Flo. Only had a Corvette $$ myself for a week so I'm still exploring the options.
Bridge on parallel and neck on single coil I've found is a nice setup for finger playing.

for a pretty smart guy I have an amazing ability for moments (and sometimes long stretches) of stupidity and ignorance....

This was a friggin revelation Flo!

Bridge PU, cut the treble and boost the bass a bit and HOLY COW MAN:eek:

Aligning the strings to the poles makes a hell of a difference too!

I call this my DUBtastic mode. Both pickups on in parrallel and full bass, i call an earthquake....

I tend to always leave my $$ in passive mode and only engage the EQ when i need something extreme to happen, like extra bass, or to add a little treble to get more bit if the passive tone isn't working - which is rare but can happen.

It's truly amazing how BIG the bass can sound on this bass :P

Have to try it yet in a really big setup with lots of people, just start dancing with their chests shaking :twisted:
 






Remarkable whaz hiding in these $$'s.

Lately, I find mucho use for both PU's
humbucking but series at the neck and
parallel at the bridge, which I play at
max midrange ..meaning both EQ pots
are set to full CUT ! This is not a weird
dry midrangey voice. It's got plenty of
bottom [my amp has no EQ controls].

Of course, there's a lot else going on,
such as my oddly tilted PUs and a lack
of frets, but it's still an example of how
seemingly odd set ups work wonders
with the $$'s. I think it's largely due to
the 2 PUs being so close together ... so
they're like one huge 4-coil PU that has
multiple personalities.

Those who find the $$'s to be muddy
are prolly still in "Thumb/SSII Mode".
A $$ needs a whole different approach.

I'm GASsing for a while for a Nirvana Black chrome hardwared Streamer $$ 4-string. Who know, once..
