help me with my rig

Hi Guys,

Currently got a Profet 5.1 and a WCA Pro 115. looking for an extention speaker to get the fullest sound and watts. Me and my band are going to be propely gigging now, and going to be taking my equipement to most gigs. We are a loud band, one guitarist uses 4x12 marshal, and the other i believe 2x12.

Im thinking i would want somthing light, but still loud, thought of the WCA Pro 2x10 also can get a Good Deal on a WCA 112 ND. Should i keep it warwick or can you lot recomend anything? Im going to get a trolley as well, to help the band out, huh and myself! Gonna be playing my $$ NT bub as well.

DO the Warwick ND speakers sound better than the Pro's?

Hey Chris, sorry man, I can't give ya my opinion cause I have no experience with these cabz or ampz...
But wut I do know is that ya don't have to worry bout yo rig not being loud enuff...I have a 400 watt Ampeg rig and I have to compete with 2 loud geetardistz too.. they use Marshall ampz (dunno wut types) and they both have two 4 x10 cabz but I've alwayz won da battle...:lol:
I agree with ya on buying a 2 x 12 cab btw...it'll give yo sound much more definition, which also meanz that yo sound will cut better thru da mix/band sound ! (dunno da exact English termzz...)

Hi Chris,

I owned and used live almost all the cabinets Warwick made, so I have a little Idea of them

The ND cabs are fine cabs, but they have a specific sound you might love them, or maybe you may not like them at all... You better Try a ND cab before buying it.
They are not BETTER than the PRO series, just different.
ND cabs are louder, but also with less low end, and more mids. They can sound "clanky" for some ears.
PRO series are good cabinets, and they have the sound you expect from such cabs.

So if you don't know exactly how the ND cabs sound like, then you better buy the PRO ones, and you will be more than happy with them.

Thankyouboth for your help, yeh da-vonk, i keep on hearing about pairing multiple smaller speakers with large ones like the 15, so thats what im gonna do!

Thanks for the info about the ND cabs Florin, i think ill stick with the pro's because cant find any ND's anyway other than online! and also that i know the pro 211 will sound great with my 115. Maybe one day i will upgrade to the ND's!

WHat cabs do you use lads? You use the ND's dont you Florin?

But just before quitting, I used either 2X 411 Pro, or Hellborg Big Cab

Again, don't think about ND as an upgrade. They are different. Of course, they have Celestion speakers, and they are louder, but then again I've never had problems with the Pro series, I used them in a very intensive manner And I like them better.

Others like the ND though...

I have a 4 years 6 months child named Luca. One year ago when he was 3.5 years, I've decided to stay with him, so I left my band and took my family to a nice and quiet little city in the mountains, and opened a little music shop

I'd go with the 2x10 as its reasonably light, loud and f*** and gives you the option of a modular rig, where you can take the 2x10 for smaller gigs, as its a very capable cabinet on its own. That said i've not had any experience with the ND112, so can't compare.
