Hey guys,
I am planning a Warmoth bass build with tremolo, and I was planning on fitting the warwick JAN to the warmoth neck, since the nut slot width is both 1.5. For the tremolo, should I go with a JAN III and groove the string slots accordingly to match a 10 inch radius, or go with a JAN 1 and line the string slots with some graphite paste (and regularly replace the graphite paste)
Also, I am struggling between a straight headstock and an angled. with a straight, I understand I will have to make the nut slot level and widen the channel a bit which could be a PITA but I really really dig the fender shaped headstock in wenge
I like the tone of brass nuts and I don't want to have to lose that just because of some pitch bending
thanks for the help!
