Back in the day I had a Bubinga Corvette 4 string. Having done the whole Fender,Musicman, etc etc thing I'm back with Warwick with an Ash Corvette in Honey Violin.(very nice too). However I heard a studio recording of my old band with that original Corvette and it sounded awesome. I can't get that sound with my new Corvette-I seem to have lost some growl. I know the different body woods account for some of this, but I'm sure the neck woods are different too. The new necks are Ovangecol (sp?) but I think my old one was Wenge with a Wenge board. Am I right? (we're talking 13 or 14 years ago here).I'm seriously considering a CS Corvette to my originals spec. TIA for any help
