Hello!
First off, I'm a bass newbie, so be kind
Last summer I was at a garage sale and saw a rather beat up 5-string bass for $40 and thought I'd pick it up. I'm trying to figure out what exactly I've got a hold of. It's a Warwick of some sort, judging by the the branding on things like the tuning knobs, truss rod cover. I'm thinking it's one of the Rock bass ones, since the S/N starts with RB...it doesn't show up in the serial number lookup site.
Beyond that, I have no idea of model. The original owner wasn't terribly helpful -- I know that he was proud of the paint job (which was obviously after market since there's paint all over the jack), he complained about the short battery life (I suspect he left it plugged in all the time), and there was electrical tape holding the back panel on (since all of the screws were missing).

Any ideas how to identify this?
Thanks!
