ME WANTEEEEE!
seriously, sign me up and i promise i will give it back.......
I am in adelaide, so iguese there is no rush gettin it to me, maybe we can start the east coast (you are in Sydney aren't you Greg?) then send it over hereand i can sling it to pearth if anyone out west wants a taste. Just an idea to save on freight costs and time so it doesnt go back and forth across the country.

Freight cost is pretty minimal.
Sydney to Perth would be about $30.

Hey Guys,

I'd be interested in trying out this lovely bit of gear when It's in Melbourne.

I'm currently working in China though, and won't be back for a few weeks. If the timelines works out I'm keen.

;)

Cheers,

Luke.

Cheep freight! sweet. SO how does this work? do we form an orderly que and just send it via an agreed courrier to the next on the list?

Something like that. And don't forget to write the reviews here :-)

GIGGETY!.

hell for the chance to try one out for a little while I'll review it, record it, make a video of the review then do a little dance and film that to!

I'm gonna be looking after this, & therefore, looking after all ya'll gettin yer handz on this 'ere fine piece o' preamp.
I'm just working out the details with Dominant now.
Will let ya's know asap.
:)

JUST GOT THE BORG DELIVERED!

First impressions are pretty good. Nothing spectacular, just a really pure tone. My jazzman is deeper and with a tighter top than ever and my LX seems to sizzle more. It almost seems like the sound i hear acoustically is better captured. Full review to come.

Sorry bout the review delay, i managed to screw my back up last week. (disc bulge in my lower back) so i haven't been able to pick up a bass for more than about 15-20min at a time. Probably wont be able to gig or even properly rehearse the thing.......Really appreciate the opportunity to try the preamp (and LOVE the tone I am getting form it) but there is no way I'm risking my spine to give it a good run :(

Hang in there Augie. There's no rush to get it to it's next demo-er. Just take it easy & dont go screwing your back up. Take your time, ok?

No sweat. gimme a heads up when i need to pass it on. Getting my spine sorted is No.1 priority now. there is now way i'm going to do anything that risks doing permanent damage down there.

Cheers Luke, I will. no fukkin arund with back stuff. puttin myself in cotton wool for a while (within easy reach of the eskie of course ;) )

Take care of yourself Augie. I had this kind of problems too, and then they dissapeared after a couple of years. I started lifting weights, and playing heavy basses and having many gigs only after, and never had a problem again.

At 17 I was told that I will never be able to make sprts again, etc. The point is... don't always believe what the doctors are telling you, but take it easy for a while.

You NEED this Augie!

:d

(purely for medicinal purposes of course!)

Thanks for the advice Flo, at the moment i'm just waiting for my next appointment with the physio next week, and i'll hit him up for exercises and stuff to get myself functioning and swinging streamers round again.

Luke: that vid was hilarical. GOT TO GET ONE......for medicinal purposes of course.
