:-D thought i'd share some eye candy i found while researching hellborg pre's.

funny... until today, I never heard of 311
of course I read about P-nut on this side before...but I always thought it was some sort of wood/tree...:x

I've read several critique's (on this forum) of his tone now that he isn't playing a Stage II, but I can't agree. I saw 311 a couple weeks ago and both the P-Nut III and the P-Nut II through the Hellborg was just killer!!! Possibly the best bass tone I've ever heard live...
 
I love my Hiwatt tube amp, but if I see this...
 
i remember driving that rig down in the back
of my truck... lots o gear.

ill take some pics of what i have in house here and post them monday.

if anyone is NYC we have all the hellborg gear to check out.
 
i cant say where it came from originally, but i got
a crazy idea and it was born.

but i call it the cookie monster...

ash body
wenge neck with wenge fingerboard and dots
duncan stc 3 preamp
MEC P/J set up
top loaded one piece bridge

the thing is amazing, and i get any sound i want
out of it.

and i love the fortress shape... i was always a Rick guy,
and they are from the same vein...
