Haven't got the Vampyre yet, but I got this!!!

She came home July 28, her name is Gypsy(or Gypsybug) after the Dio song that was stuck in my head when I was trying to name her. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car. The dealer is fantastic(Commonwealth VW Santa Ana,Ca)....I kept my old car, an '07 Saturn Vue "Stormy" he's just the work car now & Gypsy is everything else car. Hell I just like going for a cruise. In the pic, that's Stormy on the street. Right now I gotta fight the sprinklers, I'm working on getting the crap out of the garage to get her inside.
She's got the sunroof, XM touchscreen radio(not the Fender system, this is better IMO cos there's no woofer taking up truck space), you turn it on and the dash screen says "Welcome to your Beetle"....is just...cool. Out of the 3 trim levels she's the middle one. Exactly what I wanted.
She is diesel with a DSG trans (a sort of computer controlled clutch system), you can just driver her like normal or put her in sport mode, or move the shifter over to the side and go in manual shift mode with paddles or the stick. She's peppy, she's raked..but just a little, enough to look sporty enough while not scraping the ground LOL...she rides and drives wonderfully. This one I'm gonna take super extra care of, I was lazy with Stormy, he's beat up...but the bug is my dream car...gotta be good to it.
..*grumble*...ok these are coming out weird..oh well...



And as for the RB Vampyre...*sigh*....still waiting....
