My first non-alcoholic New Years since I
can remember! :D

I spent NYE with Zakk.We went down the street to the foreshore of Sydney Harbour to watch the family fireworks(9pm).They have another fireworks display at midnight,but Zakk cant stay awake that long.This happens every year & it gets bigger & better each year & this years was the biggest so far.It's really amazing to see.The bill this year was several million & they're launched from barges anchored all over the harbour & from places like the Sydney harbour bridge & the Sydney opera house.There was estimated to be 1000,000 people on the harbour this year with very little drama & a great family/friendly vibe.
It sounded like Rusty had a HUGE night.I gotta sms message from him at about 2.30 this morning,pissed as a fart. :lol:
 
I'm heading down to the pub with the lady later on. should be good fun.

I am stuck at woirk but will get out of here by 11 pm... will get barely to the church in time to say hello to the new year!!!
 
Happy NEW year, everybody

For me it was the first year after 7 years, with only on concert :-) We usually have 4- 6 concerts in that night...I think it's the economic crisis.

Anyway, because of that it was the first year I actually was home with my family.

I almost forgot how good it is to open the bottle of champagne, and hug everybody :-)

I went to a friends house, a had a blast. A little bit of cheap alcohol and some delicious champagne... and this time I didn't drink too much! We went to taco bell at 3:30 and I got two Cheesy Gordita Crunches... and that's pretty much the highlight of my night. I had a great time though, and I'm happy 2009 has started off so well! Hope you guys have a good one!

I played texas holdem the whole night...and won about 100 dollars.
 
My New Year sucked, worked a 12 in triage. Evidently the cops here have decided drunk and disorderly is a medical emergency rather than a crime and dumped all the butthole drunks on us from midnight on. And some people become real pecker heads when they're drunk.
