I'm convinced that these two typical mid-late '60s Framus pickups are not Schaller designs, and Bill Lawrence told me they are not his designs either. I was told they are probably Hansal designs. Is this correct?

Thanks.

Now this is funny. The early Billy Lorento pickups are commonlly caller True-Sound. But I found this.

Look at the brackground picture (left side) before it gets covered by the thumnails. The Framus pickups are called True-Sound. These are the early ones. The white units introduced in 1963 like the ones in this Strato guitar

These white PUs predated the next black version introduced slightly later.

As we can see in many Framus guitars they were often combined in the same guitar. Are they both called True-Sound or True-Sounds are only the early white version?

All these makes me think that the Lorento pickups were not called that way and inherited the older models name amongst the players. These are tha early Lawrence pickups I'm talking about, found on late '60s Framus and other brands by that time.
